Our Last Buff Orpington × Golden Wyandotte Cross Chicks Have Found Their New Home!

We’re feeling all the feels today — our final 8 Buff Orpington × Golden Wyandotte cross chicks (now 4 weeks old and beautifully feathered) have officially gone to their new family!

Watching this special hybrid batch grow has been such a treat. They combined the classic sweet, docile personality of Buff Orpingtons with the stunning golden-laced potential from the Wyandotte side. We know they’re going to make wonderful backyard companions and reliable brown-egg layers.

A huge thank you to the buyer who gave them a loving home. It always warms our hearts to see our chicks head off to start their own flock adventures.

Looking Ahead – Next Hatch Coming Soon If you were hoping to add some of these friendly birds to your yard, we have good news! In about 3 months we’ll be hatching our next batch of pure Buff Orpington chicks. These fluffy golden birds are favorites for a reason — calm temperaments, excellent cold hardiness, and consistent egg production.

Would you like to be notified when the next chicks are ready? Join our farm newsletter (link in sidebar/footer) or send us a message to get on the interest list. We’ll reach out as soon as we have availability and hatching dates.

In the meantime, we’ll keep sharing updates from the farm — fresh eggs, chicken stories, and homestead tips. Thanks for following along on this journey!

Have you raised Buff Orpingtons before? Tell us in the comments — we love hearing your flock stories! 🐔💛
